These 265 national treasures are extraordinarily special — “artifacts handed down with exceptional rarity and national significance in terms of history, culture, and science” (according to the Law on Cultural Heritage). They are preserved across various provinces and cities throughout Vietnam, under strict and specialized conservation methods based on the material and age of each treasure.
Each artifact is an original, unique piece, with distinctive form and profound value — representing milestones in history, culture, and science; serving as tangible evidence of major historical events; or associated with national heroes and great figures. Some are renowned artworks of ideological, humanistic, and aesthetic value, while others are inventive creations that had significant impact on Vietnam’s social and cultural development through the ages.
Across 500 richly illustrated pages, the book guides readers on a chronological journey through the ages — from prehistory and early civilizations to the revolutionary war period, culminating in the great victory of the 1975 Spring Offensive, which liberated the South and reunified the country.
Each treasure is presented with concise, well-organized information, offering readers an overview of its origin, historical context, and distinctive characteristics, accompanied by vivid photographs.
Published in both Vietnamese and English, this book aims to help both domestic and international audiences gain a deeper understanding of the enduring historical and cultural values woven by the hands and minds of the Vietnamese people over thousands of years — a civilization that continues to shine with national identity and pride.

You may return or exchange most new, unused items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.
If the return is due to our error (for example, you received an incorrect or defective item), Vietnamese Book & Craft will cover all return shipping costs.
You can expect to receive your refund within four weeks after sending your package back, although in many cases you’ll receive it sooner. This period includes:
- 5–10 business days for the package to reach us,
- 3–5 business days for us to process your return,
- and 5–10 business days for your bank to finalize the refund.
